Mobile Application Developer (iOS & Android)

We are looking for a skilled Mobile Application Developer to join a university project team, responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining mobile applications across both iOS and Android platforms.

  • Working Hours: Mon-Fri
  • Working Location: West
  • Salary Package: Up to $9,000 (basic) 
  • Job Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.

  • Build iOS applications using Swift and Android applications using Kotlin.

  • Work closely with project stakeholders, designers, and development teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality mobile solutions.

  • Implement new features, enhancements, and integrations based on project requirements.

  • Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.

  • Ensure applications are responsive, secure, reliable, and provide a good user experience.

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the successful delivery of the university project.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across both iOS and Android platforms.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Hands-on experience in iOS mobile application development using Swift.

  • Hands-on experience in Android mobile application development using Kotlin.

  • Good understanding of mobile application development lifecycle and best practices.

  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party API integration is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with Git and version control practices.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Candidates with experience in education, university, or large-scale digital projects will be advantageous.

Project Environment

  • The successful candidate will contribute to a university-focused digital project, working on mobile applications that support the project's users and business requirements.

  • The role requires development across both iOS and Android platforms, with Swift and Kotlin as the primary programming languages.
