Software Engineer (ServiceNow)

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer (ServiceNow) to design, develop, and support enterprise solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that improve business processes and user experience.

  • Working Location: Central
  • Job Type: Contract
  • Salary Package: Up to $10,000 (basic) + AWS

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform.

  • Build and maintain workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, catalog items, and integrations.

  • Develop and support ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, or HRSD modules based on business requirements.

  • Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration technologies.

  • Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, defects, and performance bottlenecks.

  • Ensure solutions follow ServiceNow best practices, security standards, and governance policies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to support teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.

  • 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.

  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting.

  • Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, or HRSD.

  • Experience developing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP, and web services.

  • Familiarity with CMDB, Service Catalog, Flow Designer, and Service Portal.

  • Understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise service management practices.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).

  • Experience with ServiceNow AI, Automation Engine, or GenAI capabilities.

  • Experience in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
