Job title: Cloud Solutions Engineer (AWS / Python)

Job Description

We are looking for a Cloud Solutions Engineer with strong software development expertise and deep experience in Amazon Web Services. This role focuses on building cloud-native applications, designing scalable architectures, and driving automation across the development lifecycle.

  • Salary Package: Up to $10,000 (basic) + AWS
  • Job Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop cloud-native applications and services on Amazon Web Services
  • Build scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure using IaC (Terraform / CloudFormation)
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment
  • Integrate applications with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB)
  • Write clean, maintainable, and production-grade code
  • Collaborate with product, DevOps, and engineering teams to deliver solutions
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security
  • Troubleshoot system issues across application and infrastructure layers
  • Optimize cloud cost and system efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in software engineering + cloud engineering
  • Strong programming experience in one or more:
    • Java / C# / Python / Node.js
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services, including:
    • Compute: EC2, Lambda
    • Storage: S3
    • Database: RDS, DynamoDB
    • Integration: API Gateway, SQS, SNS
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes / EKS preferred)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
  • Experience with version control (Git)
  • Understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms

Good to Have

  • AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect / Developer Associate)
  • Experience with serverless architecture
  • Exposure to event-driven architecture (Kafka, SNS/SQS)
  • Frontend knowledge (React, Angular) is a plus
  • Experience with observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
