Role Overview
As a Product Manager, you will lead the delivery and evolution of digital products built on Agile principles. You will be responsible for defining product direction, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring successful execution from ideation to launch. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on involvement to drive outcomes and support high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Product Delivery & Strategy
- Deliver products using Agile methodologies, with a focus on continuous learning and iteration
- Define product vision, roadmap, and long-term strategy
- Analyze product requirements and recommend enhancements or new product opportunities
- Drive end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to launch
Planning & Execution
- Lead sprint planning and prioritization based on team capacity and business needs
- Maintain and groom the product backlog, including user stories, technical tasks, and bug fixes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Owner, Tech Lead, Engineers, UX Designers, Business Analysts) to plan releases and timelines
- Track development progress, velocity, and risks, ensuring timely delivery
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Facilitate discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution
- Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations when required
Technical & Operational Oversight
- Understand system capabilities, technical constraints, and architecture considerations
- Monitor and manage application bugs, including impact and severity assessment
- Support issue resolution and remove team impediments
- Assist with operational processes such as procurement, project finance, and compliance with policies
Continuous Improvement
- Gather and analyze user feedback to drive product enhancements
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for innovation
- Improve workflows, processes, and team collaboration practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Communications, or related field
- Proven experience in Agile product management (Scrum/Kanban)
- Experience in 0-to-1 product delivery, from ideation to launch
- Strong strategic planning and feature prioritization capabilities
- Experience in go-to-market strategy and analysis
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to balance business and technical needs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-driven, adaptable, and collaborative team player
Preferred Skills
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint
- Exposure to AI/ML, SaaS platforms, or Ops-Tech integration
- Familiarity with UI/UX research and go-to-market strategies
- Understanding of public sector processes and policies
- Experience working in government or multi-agency environments
