As an Software / Application Support Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for users, ensuring smooth system operations through timely troubleshooting and incident resolution in a fast-paced production environment.

Working Arrangement

  • Training Period:
    • Mon–Thu: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
    • Fri: Work From Home
  • Post-Training (Shift Rotation):
    • 3-2-2-3 rotating shift pattern
    • 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM / 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
    • Night shifts: Work From Home

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 application support for incidents and service requests
  • Perform initial diagnosis and troubleshooting to restore system functionality
  • Act as the first point of contact for users, ensuring timely and professional communication
  • Log, track, and document incidents, root causes, and resolutions
  • Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 teams with proper analysis and documentation
  • Maintain and update support documentation (SOPs, troubleshooting guides, user manuals)
  • Collaborate with internal teams on system improvements and enhancements
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance service quality
  • Continuously build technical and domain knowledge

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Basic knowledge or exposure to programming/scripting (e.g., HTML, Java)
