Job title: Data Risk and Governance Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a Data Risk and Governance Analyst to lead key governance and compliance initiatives across the organisation. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to strengthen processes, ensure policy compliance, and support continuous operational improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting regular data stocktakes, classification reviews and performing compliance checks and gap analysis
  • Supporting data risk assessments and personal data protection impact assessments
  • Developing materials and engagement initiatives to raise awareness of data management and data protection best practices
  • Supporting the review and update of data policies, frameworks, processes, and guidelines
  • Acting as a liaison for compliance-related queries and submissions with government agencies

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Business Management, Law, Information Management, Cybersecurity, or related fields
  • 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in data governance, data protection, data management, or related areas
  • Experience in policy, framework, or process implementation, as well as risk assessments or audits
  • Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to translate complex governance and compliance requirements into clear guidance for business users

Professional certifications in relevant fields, IM8 policy exposure, or data/cybersecurity experience will have an added advantage.
