Job Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineer (Java) to build and maintain backend systems for fintech applications. In this role, you will design, develop, and enhance scalable backend services while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services for fintech and trading systems.
  • Improve system architecture to support high performance, low latency, high availability, and reliability.
  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues promptly, coordinating with relevant teams when necessary.
  • Collaborate with engineers across infrastructure and application layers to deliver robust solutions.
  • Contribute to system optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new technologies and continuously improve.
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols such as HTTP, WebSocket, and TCP/IP.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Golang, Node.js, C++, or Rust.
  • Experience working with PostgreSQL databases, including SQL tuning and optimization.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable microservices and APIs.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Redis or other caching technologies.
  • Experience with Kafka or other messaging queue systems.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Prior experience in trading, financial services, or cryptocurrency industries.
  • Knowledge of blockchain technologies, capital markets systems, or payment technologies.
