Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to drive, prioritise, and deliver secure, citizen-centric digital solutions that support public sector digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with agency objectives and policy outcomes.
  • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring clear prioritisation based on business value, compliance requirements, and technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, UX, security, vendors, and stakeholders) to translate business and policy requirements into user stories and functional specifications.
  • Ensure product delivery aligns with government governance frameworks, data protection policies, and cybersecurity standards.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and UAT coordination.
  • Engage and manage stakeholders across agencies, steering committees, and vendors to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.
  • Monitor product performance metrics, gather user feedback, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, preferably within public sector or government environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience operating within structured governance environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills (BRD, user stories, acceptance criteria).
