Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to drive, prioritise, and deliver secure, citizen-centric digital solutions that support public sector digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with agency objectives and policy outcomes.
Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring clear prioritisation based on business value, compliance requirements, and technical feasibility.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, UX, security, vendors, and stakeholders) to translate business and policy requirements into user stories and functional specifications.
Ensure product delivery aligns with government governance frameworks, data protection policies, and cybersecurity standards.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and UAT coordination.
Engage and manage stakeholders across agencies, steering committees, and vendors to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.
Monitor product performance metrics, gather user feedback, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, preferably within public sector or government environments.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience operating within structured governance environments.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills (BRD, user stories, acceptance criteria).
