About the Role
You will be part of an in-house squad developing the cloud platform—enabling government agencies to deploy high-quality, secure, and reliable services on commercial cloud platforms. This is a hands-on role with leadership opportunities and the chance to implement large-scale automation, backend development, and DevOps best practices across multiple cloud environments.

  • Working Location: Central
  • Salary Package: Up to $9500 (basic) + AWS
What You’ll Do
  • Develop and maintain backend automation and APIs using Node.js and Python.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of software engineers while remaining hands-on.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and secure deployment processes using GitLab, Atlassian, Terraform, and related toolchains.
  • Drive automation, scalability, reliability, and resiliency across the GCC platform.
  • Collaborate with development communities to deploy solutions across multiple government cloud services.
  • Learn and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Policies as Code, and Cloud Landing Zones.
  • Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and monitor application performance.
Requirements
  • 8+ years experience in backend/API development and integration using Node.js and Python.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure deployment and automation (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Hands-on experience with Agile development, secure pipelines, and deployment automation.
  • Experience leading small software teams while remaining technically involved.
  • Willingness to learn and work with IaC, Git, cloud policies, and distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with Terraform, Bash scripting, Cloud Landing Zones (Control Tower, Azure CAF) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of application monitoring tools and security practices.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
