We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team on a major government project. This role requires someone with proven hands-on experience in designing and building scalable, highly available AWS cloud architectures, while collaborating with development teams throughout the full software delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage AWS cloud architectures to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available systems.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and AWS CloudFormation.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to optimize application performance and deployment workflows.
- Ensure systems meet security, compliance, and performance requirements through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Create and maintain operational runbooks, documentation, and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement of DevOps processes, tools, and automation strategies.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Cloud/DevOps engineering, with a focus on AWS cloud design and architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Solid experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, AWS ECS/EKS).
- Familiarity with monitoring/logging solutions such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, or Grafana.
- Strong understanding of networking, load balancing, and security best practices.
- Prior experience in government/public-sector projects will be an advantage.
