Job Description
We are looking for an Applied Research Engineer familiar with Privacy-Preserving Technologies, possessing keen interest on government projects.
- Opportunity to work on large scale Data Privacy AI projects .
- Salary up to $10,000
- Hybrid work arrangement.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluating and validating emerging technologies through literature reviews, international case studies, and experimental validation.
- Designing and implementing workflows to transition experimental insights into production-grade solutions for government adoption, working with Data Engineers and Software Engineers.
- Acting as a technical advisor to government agencies, providing solutions for privacy challenges and collaborating on pilots.
- Working with regulators and policy units to translate technical research into actionable guidance.
- Developing guides to help agencies adopt PETs.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- At least 4 years of experience in research, AI/ML model development, and data science, with the ability to design experiments or proofs-of-concept.
- Proficiency in machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and programming languages like Python or R.
- Experience in PETs and familiarity with data privacy/ data security principles.
