Job title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Manual / Web)

Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team! You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications before they reach our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide constructive feedback.
  • Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Plan, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities to meet project timelines.
  • Design and execute automation scripts using advanced testing tools.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs, ensuring thorough regression testing upon resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with development and project management teams to ensure seamless SIT/UAT processes.
  • Monitor debugging outcomes and track quality metrics like defect densities.
  • Collaborate with development and project teams for smooth SIT/UAT processes.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in software testing for web and/or mobile applications.
  • Proven experience/knowledge in software quality assurance with proficiency in QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Skills in writing clear and structured test plans and cases.
  • Prior experience in Whitebox testing, Junit framework and Java programming would be advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience with performance, security, or automation testing is an advantage.
  • Prior exposure in Fintech project/product is an added advantage.
