Job title: Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS / Terraform)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to contribute to significant government projects! This role requires someone with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure while collaborating closely with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure to support scalable, reliable, and secure services.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless CI/CD integration, application deployment, and environment management.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for automation, provisioning, and deployment.
  • Source code management and collaborate with development teams on branching strategies and versioning.
  • Monitoring automation to effectively detect/predict/prevent issues in the environment and code base.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure for performance, security, and cost-effectiveness
  • Assess business and technical requirements to recommend the best-fit cloud solutions and architecture.
  • Continuously improve DevOps processes, tools, and automation strategies.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant Cloud/DevOps experience.
  • Proficient in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficient in IaC, configuration management systems (Terraform, Packer, Ansible).
  • Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS (Related certification will be advantageous).
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, JavaScript and shell scripting.
  • Experience collaborating with development teams and involvement in the full DevOps lifecycle.
  • Prior experience in government/public-facing projects is advantageous.
