Job title: IT Business Analyst

Job Description

We’re looking for a Technical Business Analyst to drive the adoption of AI solutions across government agencies. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business challenges, identify opportunities for AI implementation and translate requirements into practical, scalable solutions that enhance public service delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead discovery workshops with government agencies to understand business objectives, existing workflows, pain points and requirements.
  • Translate business needs into AI use cases, user stories, functional requirements and acceptance criteria, assessing feasibility and solution suitability.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Solution Architects and technical teams to evaluate AI platform capabilities, system integrations and implementation considerations.
  • Prepare and deliver product demonstrations, solution presentations and technical walkthroughs, communicating proposed solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Coordinate Proofs of Concept (PoCs), support user training and agency onboarding, and ensure clear documentation and handover to delivery teams.
  • Gather stakeholder feedback, identify adoption challenges and product improvement opportunities, and contribute to AI platform enhancement and adoption strategies.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance or any relevant discipline
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in IT business analysis, Technical Pre-Sales, Solution Consulting or a similar technical stakeholder-facing role
  • Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and stakeholder management
  • Working knowledge of APIs, system integrations, cloud platforms, data flows and application architecture.
  • Foundational understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs) and their practical business applications
  • Experience participating in software development lifecycles, preferably within Agile environments.
