Business Analyst (BIM / 3D Modelling)

  • Work with government users, vendors & tech teams
  • Drive system improvements from requirements to UAT
  • Gain hands-on experience in digital system operations

Background

Join a government agency supporting the operation and continuous improvement of digital systems. You will work closely with users, Helpdesk teams, technical teams and vendors to resolve issues and deliver system enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day system operations, incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
  • Coordinate with Helpdesk, technical teams and vendors to investigate and resolve system issues.
  • Analyse user-reported issues and assist with root-cause analysis and resolution.
  • Gather and document business and functional requirements for system enhancements.
  • Coordinate with vendors on defects, change requests and deliverables.
  • Conduct functional testing, UAT and regression testing for system changes.
  • Track issues, actions and dependencies and escalate potential SLA breaches.
  • Maintain requirements, process, system and incident documentation.
  • Identify recurring issues and support improvements to system operations.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, Associate Consultant or similar.
  • Experience supporting enterprise or business-critical IT systems.
  • Experience working with Helpdesk, application support teams and software vendors.
  • Good understanding of incident, problem and service request management and SLAs.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, UAT and functional testing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, Engineering, Architecture, Business or related discipline.

Desirable

  • Public-sector or government project experience.
  • Experience with BIM / 3D modelling tools such as Autodesk Revit or BIM Collab.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of ITIL / Incident, Problem and Change Management.
  • Experience working in multi-vendor environments.
