Job title: Operations Support Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an Operations Support Engineer to support and maintain enterprise digital platforms. You will ensure system reliability, troubleshoot production issues, manage incidents, and work closely with engineering, product, security, and vendor teams to drive continuous service improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L1/L2/L3 support and troubleshoot application, API, database, cloud and integration issues.
  • Monitor application and infrastructure performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage application and security incidents, problem resolution, escalation and SLA compliance.
  • Support AWS environments, deployments, CI/CD, configuration changes and production releases.
  • Develop operational processes, documentation and automation to improve reliability and minimise downtime.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related discipline with experience in Operations Engineering or Application Support.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, cloud infrastructure, web applications, APIs and databases.
  • Knowledge of HTTP, JSON, SQL, DNS, SSL/TLS, security/access controls, APM and CloudWatch.
  • Experience with ITSM tools such as AWS Quick, Zendesk or ServiceDesk, and automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD; exposure to AWS AI, RAG, tool calling, workflow automation or data lakes is highly advantageous.
