A key focus of this role is developing customised reports by integrating data from enterprise resource planning and other corporate systems using modern cloud-based data platforms and visualisation tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Data Analysts within an Agile product team, supporting the full development lifecycle from conceptualisation to production deployment.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify operational challenges, gather requirements and translate business needs into end-to-end data and analytics solutions.
- Design and deliver solutions covering use-case formulation, data pipelines, proof-of-concepts, analytical models, reporting and production implementation.
- Develop customised reports by consolidating data from enterprise systems, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Leverage cloud-native analytics technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Snowflake and Databricks to process, transform and integrate enterprise data.
- Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau or other data visualisation tools for business users and downstream systems.
- Collaborate with business, technology, data engineering and policy teams to enhance the enterprise analytics platform, tooling and reusable data assets.
- Track, validate and continuously improve the accuracy, performance and business impact of analytical solutions.
- Provide operational support and ongoing maintenance for data and analytics platforms, infrastructure and deployed solutions.
- Promote the adoption of advanced analytics capabilities, industry best practices and reusable frameworks across the organisation.
- Curate and conduct training sessions and workshops to strengthen data analytics and data science capabilities among users and analytics professionals.
- Perform other related responsibilities in support of departmental and organisational objectives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related discipline. Relevant professional certifications may also be considered.
- At least 10 years of experience conceptualising, developing and implementing advanced analytics or data science solutions to address business problems.
- Demonstrated experience leading Data Analysts or managing data and analytics workstreams within an Agile product environment.
- Strong experience engaging business users, gathering requirements and translating business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Ability to articulate solution frameworks, analytical outputs, business decisions and potential impact to encourage solution adoption.
- Good understanding of analytics and machine learning platforms and their integration with upstream data sources, downstream applications and production systems.
- Hands-on proficiency in SQL and R and/or Python.
- Experience with advanced analytics, machine learning packages and data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience with enterprise systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba or SAP Analytics Cloud would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with data and analytics platforms such as Azure Data Factory, Snowflake or Databricks is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform would be advantageous.
