Job title: Community & Programme Manager (Technology)

Job Description

We are seeking a Community & Programme Manager (Technology) to support a technology and operations engineering practice. In this role, you will build and manage a professional community of infrastructure engineers, operations engineers and technology practitioners.

You will work closely with practice leads and technical teams to facilitate knowledge sharing, organise engagement programmes and support the adoption of engineering standards, frameworks, playbooks and initiatives.

  • Salary Package: Up to $9,000 (basic) + AWS

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage community channels, communications, meetups and engagement activities.
  • Plan and coordinate sharing sessions, workshops, networking sessions and community events.
  • Drive awareness and adoption of technology and operations engineering initiatives, standards, frameworks and programmes.
  • Engage technical practitioners to understand their needs, challenges and areas of interest.
  • Gather community feedback and insights to support programme and practice improvements.
  • Maintain the community calendar and track participation and engagement.
  • Coordinate speakers, facilitators, venues and event logistics.
  • Develop community communications, updates, presentation materials and engagement content.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and technical teams to ensure smooth programme execution.
  • Manage multiple community initiatives and activities concurrently.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in community management, programme management, stakeholder engagement, project coordination or related areas.
  • Experience planning and managing professional communities, engagement programmes, workshops, events or practitioner networks.
  • Strong project coordination, stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills.
  • Able to coordinate multiple activities and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Comfortable engaging with engineers and other technical professionals.
  • Diploma or Degree in Communications, Business, Technology, Organisational Development or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience within technology, engineering, digital transformation or public-sector environments would be advantageous.
