Operations Support Engineer

Background

Support digital products by troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring system reliability and working closely with users and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 technical and application support.
  • Troubleshoot applications, APIs, integrations, cloud and infrastructure issues.
  • Investigate logs, system metrics and browser/network behaviour.
  • Manage incidents and support tickets through resolution.
  • Work with Engineering, DevOps, Product teams and vendors on issue resolution.
  • Support onboarding, deployments and production releases.
  • Perform root cause analysis and identify service improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain operational documentation and troubleshooting guides.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Application Support, Technical Operations, Software Engineering or similar.
  • Experience supporting production applications or cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience with web applications, APIs, integrations or infrastructure.
  • Comfortable reading application code and analysing logs.
  • Good stakeholder communication and incident management skills.

  • DNS, SSL/TLS, CDN
  • SQL / Relational Databases
  • Monitoring & Observability Tools

Preferred Skills

  • SaaS or digital platform experience.
  • Government or enterprise systems experience.
  • JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Python or SQL scripting experience.
