Digital Business Analyst (Technology & Innovation)

Our client is looking for a Digital Business Analyst to join the Business Tech Partnership team, which bridges technology companies and tourism industry players in Singapore, focusing on sectors such as hotels, attractions, and MICE.

This role is different from a typical functional or techno-functional Business Analyst. The position focuses more on technology solutioning, industry research, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage tourism stakeholders to identify industry challenges and operational pain points.
  • Conduct technology scanning and market research on emerging technologies such as GenAI, AI, IoT, XR and other digital solutions.
  • Assess whether technology solutions are suitable to address identified industry problems.
  • Evaluate and shortlist technology solutions or vendors for potential pilots.
  • Support proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives with internal technical teams if solutions are feasible.
  • Analyse business impact, feasibility, and implementation considerations, and prepare reports to support decision-making.

Requirements

  • Experience in technology consulting, business analysis, digital innovation, or technology research.
  • Strong analytical thinking, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable researching and evaluating emerging technologies and digital solutions.
  • Good stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Tourism or hospitality industry knowledge (hotels, attractions, MICE) is a strong advantage.
