Responsibilities:

  1. Design and manage AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, Lamdba, VPC, Cloudformation, etc)
  2. Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using Terraform, Ansible or AWS Cloud Formation
  3. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment
  4. Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
  5. Implement security best practices in AWS (IAM, encryption, network security, etc)
  6. Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and deployment processes.
  7. Maintain and improve system documentation and operational runbooks.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with AWS cloud services and architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab, CI).
  • Strong scripting skills like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, AWS ECS/EKS).
  • Experience with monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
