Working Hours: Monday – Thursday (8.30am – 6pm), Friday (8.30am – 5.30pm) (Hybrid working arrangement)

Working Location: One North

Salary Package: Up to $6k

We are seeking a dynamic Data Scientist who is enthusiastic about working on cutting-edge privacy-enhancing technologies (PET). The ideal candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks from researching existing solutions and running experimental analyses to designing practical workflows and contributing to international case studies. This role is perfect for someone who is currently pursuing or has recently completed a degree in a relevant field and is eager to apply their knowledge in AI/ML development to real-world problems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Information Gathering: Conduct thorough research to gather information on existing PET solutions.
  • Experimental Analysis: Design and run experiments using AI/ML frameworks to evaluate the efficacy of potential solutions.
  • Solution Design: Develop practical, implementable workflows and solutions that can be adopted by various agencies.
  • Research Synthesis: Engage in synthesizing research on international case studies and benchmarks; develop materials to guide agency adoption of new technologies.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable foundation in AI/ML model development, capable of running experiments tailored to user needs.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and tools such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R.
  • Additional skills in software development (e.g., frontend technologies, backend development with REST APIs) are highly regarded.
