Job title:	Cloud Security Engineer (AWS Security Hub / Kubernetes)

Job Description

We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to help secure our cloud, SaaS applications, endpoints, and enterprise systems. You will work on strengthening our security posture across AWS environments and support enterprise security transformation initiatives.

You will collaborate with teams in architecture, network, and security operations to design and implement secure cloud solutions, investigate security issues, and improve overall system resilience.

Working Hours: Mon-Fri

Working Location: Central

Salary Package: Up to $8,000 (basic) + AWS+ VB

Key Responsibilities

Secure cloud infrastructure, SaaS applications, endpoints, and data
Define and manage access controls, security policies, and system protections
Monitor systems to detect vulnerabilities, threats, and abnormal activities
Conduct security audits and support incident investigations
Perform root cause analysis for security incidents and penetration test findings
Implement and maintain security controls and best practices in cloud environments
Support secure software development practices (SSDLC) and guide engineering teams
Work with network, architecture, and SOC teams on security assessments
Provide recommendations for improving cloud security posture
Support after-hours or weekend incident response when required

Requirements

3+ years of experience in cloud security (preferably AWS)
Hands-on experience with tools like AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector
Strong understanding of SSDLC and security frameworks (e.g. OWASP)
Experience with SIEM / IDS / IPS platforms
Experience with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing tools
Strong knowledge of IAM (AD, RBAC, SSO, identity lifecycle)
Experience in log analysis and incident investigation (network, system, security logs)
Familiar with encryption, secrets management, SaaS hardening, and container/Kubernetes security
Linux administration and scripting (shell or similar)
Good understanding of securing cloud, networks, applications, and databases
