Job title:	Cloud Software Engineer (AWS Cloud / Government Project)

Job Description

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join a cloud-native engineering team on a 2-year contract. The role focuses on building and delivering rapid proof-of-concept (POC) solutions and scalable applications on AWS.

You will work across frontend, backend, and cloud services to design and implement end-to-end applications using modern frameworks and AWS-native services.

Working Hours: Mon-Fri

Working Location: Punggol

Job Type: Contract

Salary Package: Up to $10,000 (basic) +AWS

Key Responsibilities

Develop full-stack web applications using ReactJS (or Vue.js as alternative)
Build backend services and APIs using Node.js, Python, Golang, or Java
Design and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS
Develop and deliver rapid POC solutions to validate ideas and technical approaches
Build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications
Integrate frontend applications with backend services and cloud APIs
Work closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into working prototypes and production systems
Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and agile delivery cycles

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in full stack development
Strong experience with ReactJS (Vue.js or modern JavaScript frameworks also considered)
Proficiency in backend development using Node.js, Python, Golang, or Java
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (preferred)
Proven experience delivering proof-of-concept (POC) or prototype solutions (mandatory)
Good understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices
Ability to work in fast-paced, iterative development environments

Preferred Skills

Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, S3, or DynamoDB
Exposure to serverless architecture and cloud-native development
Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
Familiarity with modern frontend tooling and state management
Experience working in rapid prototyping or innovation teams
