Working hours: 8.30am-6pm (Mon-Thurs), 8.30am-5.30pm (Fri)
Working location: Central
Salary: Basic UP to $9,000 + AWS

We are seeking a Data Governance Consultant to join the Data Governance & Compliance team. This role will be instrumental in shaping and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and processes to support a secure and data-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

Review, interpret, and formulate data standards, policies, frameworks, and guidelines aligned to business needs
Define and implement governance processes across areas such as data classification, data lifecycle management, data sharing governance, privacy and consent management, and AI governance
Conduct impact analysis and support data risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory and organisational requirements
Provide advisory to stakeholders on data protection laws, policies, and governance frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data governance initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives
Act as the main point of contact for data policy queries and submissions from internal stakeholders and external government agencies
Develop materials and conduct training or workshops to drive awareness and adoption of data governance policies and best practices
Drive continuous improvement of data governance processes and frameworks

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Management, Law, or related discipline
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in data governance, data protection, data management, or policy formulation
Experience in developing frameworks, standards, processes, and conducting data risk assessments
