Job title:	DevOps Engineer (AWS / Docker)

Job Description

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team, responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-availability applications. You will work closely with development and operations teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, monitor systems, and drive operational excellence.

Working Hours: Mon- Fri

Working Location: Central

Salary Package: Up to $7,500 (basic) + AWS + VB

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Manage AWS cloud environment and containerized platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS).
Monitor application and infrastructure performance using observability tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry.
Implement security and compliance best practices, including IAM policies, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation.
Collaborate with developers to deploy and scale applications, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures for system reliability and knowledge sharing.
Participate in incident management, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience & Skills Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
3+ years’ experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent.
Strong expertise in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS).
Experience with monitoring and observability tools for application and infrastructure health.
Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, automated security controls, and incident management.
Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, Bash, Go) and familiarity with version control (Git).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills in an Agile environment.
