Software Engineer (Java)

Location: Central

Salary Package: Up to $7,200 + AWS + Variable Bonus

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based business applications and system integrations.
Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and architects to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
Apply best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality and performance standards.
Deploy and support applications in production environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Enhance system performance through optimization and integration improvements.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services.
Utilize CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git) to support continuous delivery and automation.
Participate in Agile development practices and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in Java and frameworks such as Spring (MVC, Security, Cloud).
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) and databases (Oracle, MySQL, PL/SQL).
Experience with RESTful APIs, unit testing (JUnit), and version control (Git).
Knowledge of cloud (AWS), containerization (Kubernetes), or big data technologies (Kafka, Spark) is a plus.
