IT Application Engineer

Working Hours: Mon-Fri

Working Location: Central

Salary Package: Up to $6600 (basic) + AWS + VB

Responsibilities

  • Gather and document customer requirements to define project scope and technical needs.
  • Work closely with customers’ IT teams to ensure smooth integration of medical devices solutions into existing environments (e.g., network setup, hardware/software specifications, IT security).
  • Contribute to solution design, technical presentations, and implementation planning.
  • Support Sales and Commercial teams with RFPs, tenders, and proposals for ICT-related projects.
  • Assist in the setup, testing, and deployment of Digital Health Platform & ICT solutions in line with specifications and timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal Product and Sales teams to drive successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide post-implementation technical support and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct training for users and partners on the Digital Health Platform & ICT solutions, including Patient Monitoring, Cardiology, and Neurology systems.
  • iaise with regional and global teams (Japan, USA) for technical support and updates.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, IT, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in healthcare IT, clinical informatics, or medical device integration.
  • Hands-on exposure to implementing or supporting interfaces (e.g., HL7, FHIR, DICOM) for medical devices, EMR/EHR systems, or analytics platforms.
  • Ability to work with clinicians and translate workflow needs into system requirements.
  • Experience with HL7 v2/v3, FHIR, MLLP, and DICOM integration/mapping.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL databases; scripting skills (Python, Java) are an advantage.
  • Understanding of clinical workflows and operations is beneficial.
  • Awareness of cybersecurity, networking, or cloud environments (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
