Job Description

We are looking for proactive and technically skilled individuals to join our growing Professional Services team as Software Support Specialist.
 
In this role, you'll be responsible for providing round-the-clock support for critical applications and systems, ensuring their smooth operation and availability. This is an excellent opportunity to work with diverse technologies and products while being part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Working Hours: 12 hours rotating shift work - 2 weeks rotation (8am-8pm / 8pm-8am)
  • Working Location: Hybrid Working Arrangement
  • Salary Package: Up to $3500 (basic)

Responsibilities:
  • Provide 24/7 application support, ensuring the stability and availability of critical applications and high-availability systems.
  • Identify, document, and troubleshoot user and system issues, taking ownership of problems from identification through resolution.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of known defects, issues, and resolution techniques, updating and managing problem tickets as needed.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with management, technology teams, and end-user clients on a daily basis.
  • Conduct application testing, support client testing efforts, and summarize test results.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including job schedules, client communications, team communications, and reports.
  • Train users on applications and assist them in resolving issues, building strong rapport with stakeholders.
  • Handle escalations and manage client expectations effectively.
Requirements:
  • Experience with programming languages such as HTML, Java is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create organized reports and comprehensive documentation.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to issue resolution.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Comfortable working directly with end-users and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
